About

Hi, welcome to my personal web space! I recently received my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (specialization in power systems) from Virginia Tech and joined Siemens as a Research Scientist in June 2019. I performed my Ph.D. work under the guidance of Dr. Vassilis Kekatos. My research there was focused on the application of optimization, control, and graph-theoretic techniques, and the development of algorithmic solutions for smart power systems. However, I am also interested in applying game theory, machine learning, and statistical techniques to social, physical, and large-scale infrastructure networks.

I received my B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station, where I was the recipient of the Electrical Engineering Departmental Scholarship for over 3 years. I am also a Licensed Professional Engineer (State of Texas, License No. 115491) with 4+ years of electrical engineering design and construction administration experience and 5+ years of research experience related to smart power networks. I am looking to collaborate and work with research laboratories, companies, RTO/ISO’s, utilities, and consulting firms. Please connect with me on Linkedin and Researchgate (links on the sidebar)

Besides research work, I like to play racquet ball, table tennis, and soccer. When the weather and time permit, I enjoy day hikes. I am also an amateur photographer. Some of my recent photos are on the sidebar. Feel free to follow me on Flickr!
